More about this change

The switch no longer switches anything. It is replaced by a blank plate, a Hue module behind the switch or a wireless switch.

What to watch out for

If someone presses the switch out of habit, the Hue bulb would otherwise go offline. That is why permanent power is the basis of every Hue setup.
The old switched wire is insulated and stays in the box.
