Connect the Hue wall switch module to a two-way switch
You have a two-way circuit, two switches for one lamp, and want to use Hue bulbs. The lamp needs permanent power: in the junction box, live is connected straight to the lamp.

More about this change
Both switches stay in the wall but no longer switch power. A Hue wall switch module goes behind each one and switches by radio.
What to watch out for
- The travellers between the switches are no longer needed: insulate and label them, don’t cut them off.
- The battery module needs no neutral. For the wired module, neutral must reach every switch box.
- A blue wire that carries live afterwards is marked brown or black.
What you need
- 2× Philips Hue wall switch module
- 13× Wago 221-412 (2-way)
